It had to happen eventually. I mean it was inevitable wasn't it? No escape. I registered for GnomeDex. Registering early gets you a discount and it lets Chris know that there is lots of interest from the git go. Thats gotta make a guy feel good.

Just surfing the Gnome Chat trying to spread the word and I remembered that I was going to share this link with y'all. The Canadian Automobile Association will help members book flights or map out driving directions. They can usually offers discounts on hotel rooms and such. If you are not a member then you can always join online.

All this talk about going to Iowa and researching Des Moines for the best restaurants and bars has my head spinning [Insert Exorcist joke here]. How to get there Air or Land? Sea isn't really an option for this trip but my heart still goes on [Insert Titanic joke here]. Air Canada or Avis? Oh the humanity. Although I'm enjoying the first few days of planning I know there is a long way to go until zero hour.
